Minnesota Wedding Photographer Attends Styled Photoshoot

I had an amazing time attending this beautiful styled photoshoot at the West Creek Event Center in Eau Claire Wisconsin! I took a "me day away" so naturally that included a jaunt over to Wisconsin to play with my camera. It was great to meet some other photographers and wedding day vendors! Everyone had such a passion for their work and it showed in the quality of everything that was there. The florals, stationary, details, dresses, hair & makeup and cakes were just beautiful. Kylee & Dan were two of our models for the afternoon. They were so sweet and were a pleasure to work with. Loving on one another came so naturally. They were enjoying some time away from their young kids as well. What a fun date day to get all dressed up and have photos taken! Special thanks to Kylee and Dan for being so gracious to allow us to photograph them on their "second" wedding day.

Table design

I'm in love with this table design. Perfect blend of rose and gold color schemes with soft candle light. I loved how the style of this stationary complimented the florals. Perfection!

Truth is, I was only here for the cake...

A beautiful display of cakes! A variety of chocolate, vanilla and red velvet cupcakes as well as a stunning rose gold wedding cake. Yes, I got to try a cupcake. Yes, it was delicious. Yes, it was moist, yummy, and perfect. And yes, the only time the word "moist" should be used is when describing a good cake.

West Creek Event Center in Eau Claire, Wisconsin

This event center was great! I loved the white walls, natural light, and wooden beams. A photography friendly venue for sure. It was well styled and had an upscale county vibe. The upstairs had a bridal suite that was stunning but I will share more about that in another post. Stay tuned.

Flowers, Flowers, and more flowers..

Because I needed an excuse to share more florals. I love to use florals to help share the story of the wedding day. Goes to show that even if there are still piles of snow outside, you can still have beautiful, natural colors on your wedding day!
