Beautiful Beach Pregnancy Announcement
BEACH SESSION | ANOKA PHOTOGRAPHER TRAVELS TO PUNTA CANA
I can finally share a secret I've been holding in since February!! This special announcement session was on a beach in Punta Cana and it was stunning!
We planned to do beach photos during our extended family trip to the Dominican Republic this year but these two brought an extra special surprise! They asked if we could do some pregnancy announcement photos. Ummm yes!!! Insert excited squealing sounds here. In all seriousness, I'm so excited for them to become parents. They both have hearts of gold and will do an amazing job raising this new baby!
This was my first time photographing on the beach and I was so excited to try it out. Beach photography can be tricky since it is usually harsh light, little to no shade, and usually there are a lot of people walking along the beach. I did some scoping during the days leading up to this to find the best location and time of day to do this. Hopefully these two found it worth it to get up a little early on vacation to take advantage of the best light. I think it was worth it! I also found it fascinating how the colors of the ocean water would change depending on how the light would hit it. It was partly cloudy this morning and you can see the water change from aqua to teal depending on cloud cover! Wow! So cool. We don't see that in Minnesota!
